Executive Visibility.

Isaac Mashman on executive visibility: being seen in the right places, by the right people, for the right reasons, and why visibility builds credibility only when edification comes with it.

In His Words

The Strongest Explanation.

For Isaac Mashman, visibility is half of credibility. The other half is edification: the quality of the endorsement that comes with being seen. This guide gathers where he explains how executives and public figures earn both, from the Manifesto to the conversations where he shows it working.

The more you are seen and open up about who you are and your story, the more rapport will be built. If you have done something newsworthy, let the media know about it. Get into articles, onto local stations, podcasts, and other forms of media that arise in the years to come.

Finding ways to build your credibility comes down to: A) Visibility, or how large of an opportunity it is, and B) Edification, the quality of endorsement you are receiving.

Building Credibility also covers how to approach a bigger platform: as a peer, never as a fan, with no more than a paragraph about yourself. Lines from 5.4, Building Credibility. The quote on its own page.

The Surgeon’s Reach

Chapter 5 of the Manifesto describes a surgeon with a pristine reputation and little exposure. By contributing to medical journals, co-authoring studies, appearing on morning television, or writing a book, the same doctor goes from anybody's doctor to the surgeon the most affluent seek out.

A Book on the Shelf

Isaac self-published the First Edition of the Manifesto in 2021. In an essay he sets out the credibility and visibility a printed book brings, and the steps to publish one well.
