The Timeline
Every dated milestone, from Jacksonville to the stated goal for 2035.
Isaac Mashman is the founder of Mashman Consulting Group and the author of Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame and Influence, now in its second edition. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and is based in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Coffee in excess. I optimize, position, and scale personal brands of emerging to established executives & public figures, leading to influence, credibility, and market demand.
Isaac Mashman is an executive, author, and speaker, and the founder of Mashman Consulting Group (MCG), a private consulting firm specializing in personal branding, reputation architecture, and executive visibility.
He is the author of Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame and Influence, now in its second edition. The Manifesto reached #1 New Release in Public Relations on Amazon. Alongside MCG he owns Mashman Properties, a real estate investment firm, and Mashman Investments, a private investment firm. Both are active holdings.
Isaac Mashman was born on August 18, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida, and attended River City Science Academy for middle school and high school. He grew up in a modest household where no one around him had a background in business. A strong student, he was accepted to universities in Florida and chose entrepreneurship over college.
His first venture came in high school: Success Before Rest Apparel, a clothing line he marketed on Instagram and Snapchat. Its first online sale came to about four dollars, and that was enough to change what he believed was possible.
In my mind I knew that if I made $4, I could make $40 million.

From there, Isaac moved through several unrelated ventures, including music management and network marketing, before realizing where his real interest was: the branding and marketing people kept coming to him for help with. That path is part of why he built Identity Positioning™ the way he did: he found the discipline by living the same trial and error his clients go through, not by starting there.
His first show was The Isaac Mashman Show, recorded in 2018 on an iPhone 6 a friend from high school gave him. In June 2019 he launched Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman. The show ran until June 2022: 100 episodes over three years with numerous interviews with high-quality public figures. The complete archive is available on all streaming services, including Apple Podcasts (opens in a new tab) and Spotify (opens in a new tab), and every episode can be searched in The Archive.
That same year he was flown to Los Angeles for VidCon as one of Facebook’s Star Creators for Lasso, the short-form video app that preceded the introduction of Instagram Reels. In 2022, with his prior public relations firm, Mashman Ventures, he represented his business at Meta Boost Gather in Washington, D.C.

A tweet during that year’s podcast tour introduced him to Eric Chow (opens in a new tab), who first interviewed him that August. Their collaboration began there. Eric is now Chief Operating Officer of Mashman Consulting Group, the editor and foreword author of the Second Edition, and a co-developer of much of the methodology behind it.
2019 is also when Isaac developed the Power of 3, for clients who needed a simple way to grow their network: introduce yourself to three strangers every day. Thirty days produces 90 new connections. Ninety days produces 270. A full year produces 1,095, before any compounding. Read how it works (opens in a new tab).
He has been a guest on other people’s shows from the start: Zane Speaks Out (opens in a new tab) with Zane Campbell and United Podcast Experience in 2019, Uncovering Success in 2021, The Bloggy Friends Show and Podcasting 101 with RSS.com in 2022, and Remarkable Marketing and Walter Crosby’s Sales and Cigars in 2024. In July 2025 he appeared on ASBN’s The Small Business Show, on how personal branding fuels small business growth (opens in a new tab). Every appearance is listed on In the Media.
In October 2026, Mashman Consulting Group premiered Personal Branding 101: An Unrivaled Series, free short films on the basics of personal branding, with a first film presented by Isaac. Watch it on YouTube (opens in a new tab).
A new show, Executive Status with Isaac Mashman, is in development for 2027: a podcast that merges business, celebrity appeal, and personal branding.
Personal Branding: A Manifesto on Fame and Influence was first published on November 1, 2021. The First Edition reached #1 New Release in Public Relations on Amazon.
The Second Edition followed on March 7, 2025, published by Mashman Publishing. It is a complete revision rather than a reprint: 376 pages, eight chapters, and 78 subchapters, with an essay on Identity Positioning™ set between the seventh and eighth chapters. Eric Chow (opens in a new tab) and Michelle Fongeallaz edited it, Eric Chow (opens in a new tab) wrote the foreword, and Alexander Stephens drew the cover. In paperback it is a #1 New Release in Public Relations on Amazon; in hardcover, a #3 New Release in Public Relations on Amazon.
Both editions reached Amazon's Top 10 in Public Relations. The Second Edition surpassed its predecessor in both rankings and sales.
At its peak, the Manifesto ranked in Amazon's Top 10 Best Sellers in Public Relations, the same chart led by Edward Bernays' Propaganda, the founding text of the discipline.

With Eric Chow (opens in a new tab), Isaac developed Identity Positioning™, the proprietary personal brand strategy and philosophy of Mashman Consulting Group. It was academically published in 2024 as Identity Positioning: A Macroscopic View on Personal Branding and appears in full in the Second Edition.
The doctrine behind it is published rather than implied: The 4 Laws of Personal Branding (Familiarity, Connection, Fame and Influence, and Personal Branding); The Hierarchy of Personal Branding, six tiers from Unconscious Incompetent to The International Icon; the Skyline Strategy's 2:1 ratio of professional to personal content; and the Power of 3.
The firm's free Identity Positioning™ Brand Audit scores a personal brand across The Five Personal Brand Pillars: Omnipresence, Credibility, Seamless Branding, Reputational Health & Risks, and Marketability. Audit scores are never produced by AI. Take the Brand Audit (opens in a new tab).

Isaac founded Mashman Consulting Group on July 18, 2024. Headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, the firm operates at the intersection of perception, strategy, and psychology, and rejects superficial tactics in favor of organic growth, authority, and precision.
Mashman Consulting Group is a Done With You consultancy. Engagements are accepted by application and seats are limited each quarter. Around the firm sits a working ecosystem:

Isaac founded Mashman Investments on January 3, 2022, and Mashman Properties on January 7, 2022. Both started in Florida and refiled in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 2024.
Mashman Investments takes equity investments, positions, and acquisitions, and applies MCG's personal branding expertise directly to that activity, using organic strategy and founder personal-brand development to compel progress in the companies it invests in or acquires. More about Mashman Investments.
Mashman Properties began in 2022 with two small parcels of vacant land in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It invests in undeveloped land with a long-term mandate toward commercial real estate, and it also buys, fixes, and sells residential property. It does not rent, except on special occasions decided case by case. More about Mashman Properties.

Isaac writes in his own voice as well as the firm’s. Editorial coverage is earned, never bought. Neither Isaac Mashman nor Mashman Consulting Group engages in pay-to-play press placements, paid features, or purchased followings. Paid newswire distribution and advertising are separate disciplines, used as secondary support to organic effort, never as a substitute for it. The rest of the standard is in the Executive Code of Ethics.
Coffee in excess is not a figure of speech. Isaac’s day starts with coffee, made one of six ways depending on the morning. He calls himself a chaotic creative: ideas live across phone notes, ClickUp, and whiteboards, and the work happens wherever the thinking is best, a reading nook, the couch, or a café, more often than at a desk.
Breaks are walks, usually in a weighted vest with a podcast playing. He keeps a creator’s habit of capturing moments as they happen rather than staging them: a photo at the dinner table, a thought recorded on the way somewhere.

After much of 2026 away, Isaac returned to business and the media in the third quarter, with a more dedicated focus on personal branding and relaunched properties across the MASHMAN companies.
…my return to business and the media in Q3 marks the start of a new epoch in personal branding and my ambitions. I have never been this excited or motivated to build.
