Isaac Mashman is born on August 18, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida, and grows up in a modest household where no one around him has a background in business. He attends River City Science Academy for middle school and high school.

Before Personal Branding
His first business is a lawn service at fifteen or sixteen, run from neighborhood flyers and a trailer behind his bicycle. Then comes Success Before Rest Apparel, a clothing line marketed on Instagram and Snapchat. Its first online sale comes to about four dollars. “In my mind I knew that if I made $4, I could make $40 million,” he later tells CanvasRebel.
Accepted to universities in Florida, he chooses entrepreneurship over college, and moves through several unrelated ventures, including music management and network marketing, before realizing where his real interest is. Living that trial and error is part of why he later builds Identity Positioning™ the way he does.

In his senior year of high school, Isaac opens his first Twitter account and starts claiming @isaacmashman on every platform he uses. As a boy he disliked his unusual surname; now he sees that no one else is competing for it.

In February 2018, at seventeen, Isaac records the first episode of his first show, The Isaac Mashman Show, on an iPhone 6 a friend from high school gave him, and edits it in the school library between classes. Twenty episodes follow through 2019.

Early in 2018, still a senior, Isaac is introduced to network marketing. It is where he learns to sell, gets comfortable speaking on stage, and starts taking personal development seriously. He leaves because he wants to build something of his own.
