Hey, what's going on everyone ice @isaacmashman here and you are now listening to episode 17 of the hustlers choice podcast Just kidding just kidding. You're probably like what what are you talking about just kidding? That's this is your podcast right? Yes, it is But I'm here to tell you in today's episode that I am doing away and retiring the name hustlers choice There are a variety of different reasons that I'll talk about in this episode which I'll go into to, but I want to announce that the podcast is now going to be called Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman. Back when I started this podcast in June of 2019, I was in a very entrepreneurial mind.

I was in a very, I don't think entrepreneurial mind state would be the best word to use, the best phrase to use, but rather, in a mind state of I got to frame myself as an entrepreneur online.

really, not like I was never trying to flaunt, I was never trying to be something that I'm not because deep down I'm an entrepreneur at heart. Don't get me wrong, but I was trying to fit into this entrepreneurial space and build up an audience based around other like-minded individuals based around business owners, based around, you know, entrepreneurial entrepreneurs, you know, that like Gary Vee, that like Andy Fursala, that like Ty Lopez, and there's nothing wrong with that. But since June of 2019, Fast Forward Now, It's the first week of March 2020. I've noticed a very large evolution has happened. I'm starting to recognize that that entrepreneurial space is so crowded and it's so saturated.

I don't want to be a part of that. And I'm not saying this in a way of like, it's a horrible space that I can associate myself with.

But rather, I don't see the point of trying to put a label on who I am or what businesses I'm doing. Just the fact that I'm a business owner means that I'm an entrepreneur. Just because I'm running companies means that I'm automatically those things. So why do I have to label myself as that individual? And the one thing that I've never wanted in life is to be put in a box. I've never wanted to be putting a niche. You know, a lot of entrepreneurs speak about nitching down and speak about going and finding your niche and building your niche. And see, that works for other people.

But for me, I've always been a bigger thinker. I've never wanted to just niche down because I feel like I'm going to suffocate myself and suffocation to me is one of the worst feelings in the world.

Obviously, right? That you can't breathe and I feel like by putting myself in a box on limiting myself to opportunities, it could just be a perspective, it could just be a paradigm. But regardless, I've made the decision that I'm going to be more so focusing on a lifestyle of growth, a lifestyle of evolution, of actually chasing what you want out of life and being yourself rather than trying to label every single thing that you do or label the niche that you're involved with. Today's episode is going to be rather short, it's going to be rather sweet. This is, like I said, the closure of a chapter and the beginning of a new chapter, of a new page.

I believe that this journey that we're on in life, I'm not trying to get into some spiritual talk, but this journey we're on is about evolution and is about growth.

about continuous growth and that is the premise of this new name. The new name of this podcast, the new brand, is Chase the Vision with Isaac Mashman. And the one thing that I've noticed in a lot of people in my own personal life and looking and watching other people and watching actions and watching how other people behave in life or what they pursue is the moment a person stops growing is the moment that they die. They don't die physically but they die emotionally, they die mentally because they stop and they become stagnant. They forget what they're chasing after. They're no longer active and I see a lot of people even younger individuals who just don't grow.

It's like they go to college or they go to high school, they get an education, they learn, they go to college, they might continuously learn a little bit. Then they quit college or they you know they graduate and they stop growing. They never pick up another book.

They never listen to an audio. They never study for anything. They never grow themselves and that isn't how it should be. We as human beings, I believe, are meant to be creatures of continuous growth, that's survival, right? The more we grow, the better we can survive. The more we know, that means that we can use that knowledge for better use. We can use that knowledge and get better results and a quicker pace. And it just makes all the sense in the world for me for encouraging that growth mind state. And so Chase the Vision podcasts. I was really contemplating completely doing the way with the Hustler Choice podcast and like not necessarily rebranding it but starting up a third podcast because I started up the Isaac Mashman Show way back when I first got started in business in 2018 but I didn't want to overcomplicate it and so I was like I'll just rebrand the Hustler's Choice into this new podcast and I'm here to welcome you guys you know on this new journey that we're going to be on together and I really hope sincerely from the bottom of my heart that you guys continue following me for this.

But this podcast is going to be centered around self-improvement first because I believe that at the cornerstone of all success and achievements of dream or the achievement of any such dream, whether you're an aspiring musician who wants to be a world-known musician or you want to be an actor that is in a whole bunch of different roles or even if you want just open up a small store or be a painter or be a business owner. You know, you have a vision and you have a dream, but the only way that you can ever achieve that dream is by putting in the work. That's not going to change.

You have to put in the work, but putting in the work equates to growth. You have to grow. You have to work on your craft. You have to study new things, or at least you should. A lot of people don't, but that's That's why we're here to change that narrative.

And so guys, for this new direction that we're going, I really just want to challenge you guys to expand your thinking, to examine your habits, and to embrace a lifestyle of continuous improvement, continuous growth, right? encouraging the lifestyle of growth and Saying goodbye to the negative actions that you're doing you're right kicking the negative habits you're doing I'm not over here trying to tell you how to live your life But rather looking and you know making you question why you do the things that you do? You know and and what are some things that you could do to replace the bad habits with positive habits?

There are so many different things that we're going to be able to go into and discuss you can already tell my brain is all over the place because this is such a big topic, but I feel like just the overall topic of self-improvement and encouraging mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being is so important and it's oftentimes overlooked.

One of the reasons why I decided to get out of this entrepreneurial space is because everyone tells you how to grow your mental health, especially for a lot of you who are business owners who listen to self-development by a lot of these entrepreneurs. They only tell you about the books that you should read or the things that you should study the audios you should listen to but they don't necessarily tell you you know how to physically grow how to physically be better they don't mention meditation they don't mention any practices for emotional well-being and you know I had to take a step back over the past couple of months and it's been it's been one crazy journey you know and I'm finally evolving into this person who I'm like okay this is actually like I'm not evolving I'm actually just realizing that this is who I've always been and I feel like by trying to be in that entrepreneurial space, I was trying to like emphasize what I've always been and there was no need to do that.

I'll much rather just be myself and be a little bit more comfortable in the things I do. But anyways, I'm here to educate you guys, to encourage you guys and to actually talk about, okay, well, you want to grow your business, you want to chase and achieve this dream. But what are some of the steps that you can do in order to get to that point. Everyone tells you what you should be doing, but very, very few people actually tell you how you can get to that point, how you can actually do those things. And that's a big problem in my own life, man. I noticed that there is a very big void in the self-development space.

You know, they would cover one area of health and wellness and they wouldn't cover, they would just forget everything else. And you know, obviously that was what brand they were building, but at the same time it's like they were limiting themselves and not only the brands they're building, but also So the value and the knowledge they're, you know, purveying because if you look at the habits of a lot of ultra successful people, obviously success is subjective.

It's whatever definition you want it to be. But if you look at their lifestyle, they have different success habits in their life of meditation, the foods that they eat, they work out, they get up at a certain time. But very rarely do these people talk about that. And I just want to be able to have an open conversation and be able to help you guys grow and continue expanding your horizons and stuff like that, to where it's like, you know, we might not have everything figured out, but at least by taking these action steps, we're going to be able to, you know, get one step closer to our vision and our dream, you know, one day out of time as we progress, as we move, as we get better.

And, you know, guys, the one thing I've also realized is chasing after a vision and chasing after a dream, you're never going to truly achieve it, because there are always new levels that you can reach.

You can take, you can achieve the basics of that dream, but there are always new levels that you can push through afterwards. And I want to really emphasize that infinite potential, that infinite growth that we have, we are infinite beings. We do not know the limits of our capabilities because there isn't any limit. We are infinite creatures. And that sounds super spiritual, but it's true. We went to the moon, right? We went to the moon and then whenever the guy, whenever GFK asked the main engineer at NASA or whatever it was, what was required to get to the moon, The guy replied, with the will to do so.

Guess what, fast forward 10 years or however long the time will we got to the moon. We can do whatever we put our minds to, but the one issue that we have is ourselves.

We hold ourselves back because we focus on all the reasons why we can't do something or how we can't or if we let other people influence our decisions. When, in all honesty, we have one life to live and we gotta make the most out of this life. And so, you know, I could continue opening up in explaining the show and what we're going to be doing and different things. But I think the name also expresses a lot of the, you know, what we're doing and it's chasing the vision, Chase the Vision. And you know, the one thing I'm going to be using is like, I guess you could say the tagline is Chase the Vision, chase the dream, chase your vision, chase your dream. And I'm here, you know, living my own and chasing my own dream.

I'm out in California, flew across the freaking United States again, sleeping on floors, You know, building up a business from scratch and, you know, it's been one crazy journey, but you know what? I'm chasing after that vision and looking every single day at ways I can beat better, ways I can improve, ways that I can really expand my horizons and achieve my dream. And that dream is to help every single one of you and as many people in life recognize, respect and act on their dreams and potential and become the very best versions of you, yourself, whatever you want to call it. That is my purpose in life because I see so many people with such great potential that just need a little bit of guidance, a little bit of an extra shove. Someone to tell them the opposite of what everyone else has told them their entire life.

I know a lot of people who have that, they want to be an artist in school and then they have someone tell them, oh, you've got to be realistic. That won't pay the bills. Why won't it pay the bills? The people who are shitting on your dreams, excuse my language, they're shitting on your dreams when they're not even pursuing their own dreams. And I'm here to tell each and every one of you to chase after that one thing that you want in life because I know that whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve. And the one thing that I also want to emphasize with this podcast and then I'm going to close this out is to actually put action steps into place to take action. And why do you think it is chase?

Chase is an action where it's an active pursuit of something. You know, a lot of times I say chasing after a girl, what are you doing? actively pursuing that woman. This is the same thing. You're actively pursuing your dreams. And that's the reason why I named it Chase the Vision podcast because we are always going to be on pursuit and we can always be on pursuit. And that's the brilliant, amazing thing about being human, about being on this journey and about being us. And so guys, I look forward to this new chapter. My entire brand is pivoting. My entire ice, Mashman online presence. I'm no longer using words like motivating.

I'm no longer using words like inspiring or labeling myself as an entrepreneur. The most cliche word I'll use is visionary. And even then, I'm not even using that term very much anymore because I feel like I just want my actions to do the speaking. I want my businesses to build up their own characteristics, their own traits. And I want to be known as Isaac Mashman. I don't want to be known as Isaac Mashman. You know, the guy who does this or the guy who does that. But rather is who I am, what I stand for, the morals I do in the message I'm speaking.

And with that guys, I'm really excited. And thank you guys so much for sticking with me through the brand. A lot of you are long time listeners, long time people. I don't want to say fans, but long time members of this family and this community that we got going on and starting up. And it's been crazy because I started out this over the past two and a half years. I was building up an audience. And I didn't know why I was building an audience. And now that I do, oh, I'm excited. I am genuinely excited because for the first time of my life, I have this purpose cemented, I have this passion figured out, and I'm like, let's go after this, let's really make a difference in lives with a lot of other people. Let's start a, I don't want to stay like, start a ripple effect, but that's what we're doing, you know?

One thing leads to another, that leads to another, leads to another. And you know, I'd much rather that influence and that ripple effect be positive than be negative or be something that is telling people to do the things that they really don't want to do and try to feel like they have to fit a criteria. And man, that's a horrible thing. Try to feel like you have to fit a criteria. Yeah. And that's going to be an episode in of itself. And then I know that this is going to be the first episode that I refer a lot of you guys to a lot of my future audience to, you know, it is episode 17 of the podcast.

If you listen to any of the earlier episodes, I do start out by saying, hey, you're now listening to the Huskers Choice. Disregard that and just start at episode 17. This is a new beginning. This is a new beginning. Technically episode 1 of Chase the Vision.

But I'm so I could keep rambling on, but I think I got the message across and I would love to get your opinions. Honestly, your opinions mean the world to me. Every single one, you know, even if it's like it was great or it could have been improved, whatever it is, you know, let me know. Let me know. Follow me on social media at Isaac Mashman. I'm on Instagram, on Twitter, send me a message on either go to my website @isaacmashman.com and make sure you're following the podcast page, Chase the Vision podcast on Instagram. With that being said guys, thank you guys so much and remember to always chase your vision and chase your dream. Have a fantastic day. Be safe.
